Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge

It has a V8 with 3,568 cc cylinder capacity engine at 90º with five valves per cylinder, variable valve distribution, 400 CV maximum horsepower (at 8,500 rpm) and a torque of 38 Kg m (at 4,750 rpm). The cylinder block is made of aluminium and has a rear mid-engine, centrally and longitudinally-mounted layout, with rear wheel drive and a dismountable traction control. It has a system allowing the engine to accelerate slightly after slowing down, to compensate the drop in revolutions.

The gear box has six gears, with the option of choosing either the classic selector on the central console (with guiding grid typical of Ferraris) or the F1 option. The latter consists of two gear levers behind the wheel, which send a signal to an electro hydraulic pump that operates a system of pulleys joined to the gear box each time a gear is changed. This system makes the clutch unnecessary.
